Thus, Dae-Jin Meat House emerged, a modest 5 x 8m butcher shop that showcased their farmed produce.

 

In the Korean culture, where communal BBQs and meat dishes reign supreme, the couple introduced vegetables and an array of Korean side dishes to complement their quality meats. The butcher shop swiftly gained popularity and the demand for their offerings grew, so did the need for a larger space to accommodate an expanding array of products and a burgeoning customer base.

 

In 2012, a new chapter unfolded as C Mart Cambodia opened its doors at a new location on #180 St 598. The name "C Mart" pays homage to its roots, signifying "Cambodian Mart," a nod to the supermarket's location and its commitment to serving both the Korean and Cambodian communities. Despite its origins catering to the Korean expats, C Mart Cambodia stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of cultural exchange and integration. Today, it proudly offers a unique shopping experience that intertwines the best of Korean flavors and Cambodian embodiment of diversity , ensuring that the supermarket remains a cherished part of the community it serves.
